The typical program length ranges from 2 months up to 12 months.

For Indian market, the internship programs vary in length with a 4 week minimum and 22 week. For the U.S. market, the internship programs vary in length with an 8 week minimum and 1 year maximum for J-1 internship students and an 18 month maximum for J-1 trainees. The duration might vary based on the local regulations.

 

We encourage host companies to offer their interns some sort of compensation for the internship, although this is not required. Some companies offer an hourly rate, monthly stipends, or a one-time bonus at the end of the internship. Any compensation must be in accordance with local labor laws.
